the Majestic Limestone Karsts at The Rock Viewpoint Phou Pha Marn
Phou Pha Marn is located along National Road No. 8 (the route leading to the Vietnamese border) in Ban Na Hin, Khounkham District, Khammouane Province. It is considered the highest point and the gateway to the Phou Hin Boun National Protected Area, covering a total concession area of over 7,500 hectares.
This site was developed and officially opened in late 2019 through a partnership between Green Discovery Laos (a leader in eco-tourism and adventure) and the Inthira Group. The primary objective of its establishment is to promote sustainable tourism and protect the ancient limestone forest ecosystem as a habitat for wildlife, especially the endangered Laotian Langur. Today, it has become the most important stopover on the "Thakhek Loop" travel route."
