The Miss Ethnic Attire Contest, celebrating the 09 diverse ethnic groups of Khammouane Province, features young women representing each community. Participants include contestants from various schools within the provincial municipality, along with a special representative from Nongbok District.

The sports competitions at the Annual That Sikhottabong Festival 2024, which commenced in early February 2024 at the That Sikhottabong Sports Field, concluded with the finals on February 24th, the last day of the festival. There were 3 types of sports: Football (Men), with 16 participating teams: Phetdavanh, CS Bridge-Road Construction, Kiang Kai Transport, Japan, Nong Phoy Chomphou, Provincial Police, Nong Nitta, Mitvilay, Thep Kangvan, Khiat Noy, Thanyahan Sport, Thep Sihai, Lecta, Super Ji, Bao Phouthai FC, and Khammouane Cement Company. The results were: Winner - Phetdavanh; Runner-up - Lecta; Joint 3rd place - Thep Sihai and Mitvilay. For Sepak Takraw, a total of 41 teams participated. The results were: Youth (Female) - 1st place: Nabo Secondary School, Thakhek District; 2nd place: Ethnic High School, Thakhek District; Joint 3rd place: Nong AB Team + Jomthong Secondary School Team. Youth (Male) - 1st place: Nong Kao Team (Tan Teung High School, Nongbok District); 2nd place: Seua Khu Team (Nadone High School, Thakhek District); Joint 3rd place: Phondeua Secondary School Team + Ethnic High School, Thakhek District. Senior (Male) - 1st place: Peuan Kan; 2nd place: Saiyasouk (Clinic); Joint 3rd place: Pa Noy Korat and Mukdahan. General (Male) - 1st place: That Muang Kao; 2nd place: Bebe Shop Lao-China; Joint 3rd place: Nong Puy Fai and Provincial Police. For Volleyball (Women) - 1st place: Dek Pan Som Bat; 2nd place: Khammouane-Quang Binh Friendship; 3rd place: Boliboun; and 4th place: Savang Kongka Municipality. For Volleyball (Men) - 1st place: Provincial Army; 2nd place: King Wee Bee; 3rd place: Provincial Police; and 4th place: Bell-Bill.
Regarding the Miss Ethnic Costume Contest for 09 ethnic groups, which featured representatives from 09 ethnic groups of Khammouane province, with contestants from various schools within the provincial municipality and one representative from Nongbok District. After selection and judging by the five-member committee, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners were unanimously chosen as follows: 1st place: Miss Phonnnapha Khamvongsa, representing the Makong ethnic group, received a crown and sash, along with a cash prize of 15 million Kip. 2nd place: Miss Mobai Inthilath, representing the Tri ethnic group, received a sash and 10 million Kip. 3rd place: Miss Souphaluck Vorlasan, representing the Ngouane ethnic group, received a sash and 5 million Kip.
